Cinnamon Rolls – Darlene Winter

Mix together:  l cup butter, 2 cups brown sugar,  6 Tbs corn syrup, and a few drops of water.  Heat just enough to dissolve and spread on the bottom of greased pan or pans.

Use dough from Dad’s Cheddar Cheese recipe and roll out on lightly floured surface. (Kucken dough also makes delicious cinnamon rolls, which is what Darlene uses.)   Spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon.  (I like to also add raisins and walnuts or pecans.)  Roll up and cut into about 1/2 inch pieces and place in pan with the brown sugar mixture.  Cover and let rise to double in size.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes or till golden brown on top.  Remove from oven and turn upside down in another container so that your frosting is on top.
